Bola Kalejaiye is a second-career teacher with over 15 years experience in teaching, administration and management. She has an intense passion for the total well being of each child. She is the Founder/Director of several child centered organizations namely:
Discovery House Montessori School, a leading Montessori School in Lagos, Nigeria,
Mindscapes Children’s Museum, the first Children’s Museum in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Disch Montessori Center, a Teacher Training and Development Institute.
Bola believes it is part of her divine calling to care for the children of this country, especially the less privileged and those at an economic disadvantage. Through Berachah, she is set to establish and expand several outreach programs that will cater to the body, mind and soul of each child.
Wisdom .O. Dafinone
Wisdom .O. Dafinone is a retired International Financial Advisor and Taxation Consultant (United States of America Income tax Certification 2015). With over 30 years of experience working with national and international organizations within and outside Nigeria, he brings a high level of expertise to the operations of Berachah.
Having served as a Revenue Monitoring Consultant in World Bank in Lagos, Nigeria and as an active participant in the Central bank of Nigeria’s Debt Conversion Program, his skill and expertise will greatly aid the operations of Berachah Children’s Foundation.
As a grandfather, he is sensitive to the plight of the average child who is, by reason of birth and not by choice, less poised to receive the much needed medical assistance to aid survival.
Dr. Adetoun Agbe-Davies
Dr. Adetoun Agbe-Davies is an experienced medical practioner by profession and a child advocate by choice and passion. She is a seasoned health care planner and manager with special interests in Maternal and Child Health.
She began her career in Public Health and spent over 28 years in active service to the government of Lagos State, Nigeria. She has served as the pioneer Director of Family Health and Nutrition in the Directorate of Public Health. In 2009, she was appointed as the Permanent Secretary to Lagos State Ministry of Health.
She is a WHO trained trainer in gender issues especially Integrating Gender into Public Health and has obtained several educational qualifications in Public Health including a Master of Science (MSc) in Community Health in Developing Countries from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine of the University of London.
Barr. Taiwo Akinlami
Barr. Taiwo Akinlami is an established Lawyer, a very vocal and voracious child advocate. He spends his time and resources advocating and raising awareness about the mental, emotional and physical health of the Nigerian child in Nigeria.
He is a Childhood Management and Child Development subject matter expert with vast experiences spanning over 20 years. On Child protection and related matters, he Hworks with various International and National bodies such as: UNICEF, USAID, UNFPA, SOS Children’s Villages, Association of Private Educators of Nigeria (APEN), Association of International School Educators of Nigeria(AISEN) and lots more.
Akinlami is the principal and founder of iProtect™ Academy, Africa’s pioneer Childhood Management and Child Development Academy. He has authored over 10 books and published over 600 articles on his blog.
Pastor Wale Adefarasin
Pastor Wale Adefarasin is the General Overseer of Guiding Light Assembly, a church which has its headquarters branch in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi.
Pastor Wale has been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years during which time he has served the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria both as Chairman of The Lagos State chapter, and subsequently as the National Secretary. He presents a TV discussion program called ‘The Heart of the Matter’, and a radio program called ‘Pastor Wale Speaks’.
Pastor Wale believes that God put ‘the family’ at the centre of His redemptive plan for mankind, and that the health of a community is a function of the health of the families of which it is comprised. He also believes that the church has a significant role to play in the transformation of our nation.
